Google Drive storage?

We have a corporate standard where I'm not supposed to use web tools such as Toodledo that stores data outside of our network.
Is there a way to have Toodledo use Google Drive or use a local file to store its data? Google for Business is approved for use.

I've used a link to the Google Drive file in the notes field.

Are you not supposed to even have your tasks stored outside, or just the attachments ?

You can set up a local file link in the notes & then copy and paste it into command window - it sounds clunky but is actually pretty fast.

E.g.:

D:\Data\....\Documents\Market conditions meeting.pptx

I have an Address toolbar enabled on my Windows taskbar, all I have to do is copy the link from Toodledo task Note and paste into Address toolbar and it will launch the file.

The link will work on any computer as long as you maintain the same exact directory structure. That's why I keep all files in D:\Data on all of my Windows machines.

You can also set up a link to a cloud drive.
