Adding a New Task

Is there a way to turn off the "new task" feature? When a new task is added, it appears at the top of the task list under the heading "New Tasks". Can this function / feature be turned off / disabled?

Sorry, this cant be turned off, but if you have keyboard shortcuts turned on in your account settings you can press "r" to refresh the list and put the task in its proper place.
