Overdue tasks on Android App not appearing

Hi all,
I am a new user and noticed today a task which had a Due By date of yesterday but which was not completed, is not showing on my Android app or widget. The app is set to show all tasks but is only showing today's onwards. I have now amended the due by date via the website to tomorrow and the task is appearing. How can I see overdue tasks in the app? Am I missing something basic or is this not part of the functionality and if so when will it be?

You can of course see overdue tasks. You haven't mentioned which view you are looking at in the app. When you expand Tasks section on the left, you should see items like Main, Context, Folder, etc. which one you have chosen? Then, check if the view is filtered somehow - that should gove you an idea why you can't see overdue task.
