refresh not working

Just recently when I complete a task and click refresh nothing happens--the check mark stays. It doesn't matter if it is repeating or non-repeating. To remove a completed task, I have to delete it. What can I do to fix this?

Are you sure you have the option "show recently completed tasks" set to OFF?

Thanks for your reply. The only option I see for completed tasks is "dimmed" or "line drawn through." I have the free subscription.
Previously when I clicked on the left, and I clicked refresh, this months's recurring task would pop up for next month. Now I'm having to manually change it. |

You should click on Eye-icon on top right, there are options to hide/show some specific groups of tasks - toggle the option "Recently Completed Tasks".
