Never had this problem. Filters seems ok.
What should I do?

if you have recently switched from the new to old task interface (or vice versa), you may need to tweak your searches. The interface plays a role in how query results are displayed. I've had similar issues.

The problem is with https://beta.toodledo.com/ so I switched back to https://tasks.toodledo.com/
Anyway I don't understand the concept of having a beta version for years as not so much change.

Hi coachmac,

If your issue with just with search results in Beta being incomplete, then I ran into that as well when I was testing a fix that toodle dev had put there for a different problem that I ran into.

I noted this beta search problem to them in the support ticket and here is what I wrote, followed by their response.

--------Completely separate observation about the Beta environment.

Just fyi, for some reason I'm not able to "find" all my tasks in Beta. I used the search-entry-line which comes with the keyboard shortcut 'f'.

When doing a search, only a subset of the tasks which I actually have which matched that search criteria showed up in Beta. Different, longer, complete list showed up in production.

Yeah we know that, trying to resolve this issue : https://www.toodledo.com/forums/2/26855/0/couple-of-issues-with-subtask-views.html

But our internal beta user did log that issue for search so we are going to fix that.

Also there is some testing being done for this feature request too : https://roadmap.toodledo.com/feature-requests/p/link-task-to-completion-of-another-task

Will create a separate forum post for the same.

Sounds like you run in beta all the time. Are you sure that you want to be doing that?

Toodle explicitly says that when using beta, you're on your own if data gets lost/corrupted and that's why they recommend that you do a backup before using that env in case you need to get your data back and which you can then do thru a restore (from your own backup, not theirs).

Thank you, I will review that. I think I was not aware that beta could not be your main system. I thought the beta was there for a limited time and I was waiting to see the new things to be implemented. But I've been waiting too long. ;-)
I'm going to stop to use the beta for now.

This morning I have the problem on both. Beta and not beta.

Try going to the side menu and click on "Open All Dividers". There is a bug causing Dividers to completely disappear when they are closed.

Here is a screen recording of the bug:

As far as I can tell, I have never been on beta, and use https://tasks.toodledo.com/ . However, I have been struggling with the 'lost task & subtasks' problem all morning. The only tasks showing up on either are existing tasks from 4 folders, ignoring any tasks in the other 11 folders. None of my subtasks are showing unless they are created under the tasks that display in the search/calendar. Any new tasks that I add today via the desktop site, regardless of the folder, shows up on the calendar and in searches, but anything I've added today from Gmail, doesn't show up. The problem also popped up when I clicked on the tag and context view options on the left-side panel, missing several tasks with the same tag and/or context. The only view option that works for all tasks/subtasks is the folder view.

So what am I doing wrong?
