How do I set a Time limit on repeating a task, in other words, how do I mark it completed, and do not repeat it.

If you don't want a task to repeat, you can change the REPEAT to NONE.
If you also "check it off", I think the task shows as "completed", but once you reach a certain number of completed tasks you might have to delete it (in the batch-delete process).
