Google calendar ics format problem

I've tried pasting the ical url into both Google calendar and iCal. I get a "The address that you provided did not contain a calendar in a valid iCal or GData format." error. Any ideas?

Make sure you hit "Save Changes" after you enable the links. Also make sure you enter the correct "webcal:" prefix shown rather than usual "http:".

Google Calendar can be quirky. Wait a few hours and try again. It will work eventually.

Success! I had been trying to paste the iCal link into Gcal through Firefox 3. On a whim I tried to do it using IE and it worked! I wonder why it won't work on FF?
