Personally, I don't care for having the first letter I type automatically capitalized in my task description. My tasks rarely begin with a capital letter as they are not complete sentences, nor do they often begin with a proper noun. This behavior doesn't follow the conventional entry method that the parent web site uses, so it could also be argued on the basis of that inconsistency.

Good point. The website should autocaptitalize too :)

Seriously though I think this is just the way the iPhone works. I often have words capitalized by the iPod Touch for no logical reason. Maybe Toodledo could find a way to make it a user setting though.
