Adding sub-task while in a particular Context

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this or not.

When I am adding a sub-task to a current Parent Task. I get the dialog box that ask for the sub-task title, but I found that the sub-task will not show up in my current view.

The reason for this is simple. If my current Context is "Work", when I add a sub-task, there is no option for choosing the context at that time, so the sub-task does not show up.

I must turn my filters off, find the task, add the correct context, filter by context again and move on.

That is a lot of work for something so simple.

Can we have more options for a new sub-task?

I didn't realize that newly added subtasks could be hidden, but I never use Context filters (I actually eliminated Contexts in favor of Tags recently). You could add the subtask using the regular Add Task button or "n" shortcut, and then drag it under the parent, but you make a good point.

I identified this issue on May 12, in a list of problems with subtasks:
3. Having a newly created subtask disappear if the defaults for a new task do not correspond to the current filter.

This is on our to-do list to fix in a future update.
