Hi there,

as you know from "Remember the milk" you can maintain a URL to a task. It would be useful to have at least one dedicated field optinal visible to put an URL into.

At work I use Lotus Notes and I'd like to create a toodledo task for a mail and want to have this connection be visible through the unique mailID which is something like "Notes://SRVD/blablaGUID".

Sincerely, Martin

You can paste a url in the notes field and it will work as link. I regularly do this to add tasks from from the web using the firefox plugin. I just copy the url first then click ctrl+a to bring up the add task window. I then enter the task details and paste the url in the notes field. Works like a charm (and saves us an extra field).

Thanks. But it doesn't work with Opera 10. Do I need Greasemonkey for that?

URLs should be automatically recognized and turned into active links. However, I don't know how the Lotus Notes URL you mentioned works. I have only ever used "http:"-type web URLs.

I believe "http:" is the only thing supported here.

I use Lotus Notes at work but always use "http:" for my URL links in Toodledo.

I frequently paste the URL from my Gmail into a task before I mail it in to Toodledo and that works well to let me get back to it quickly.
