Start date for tasks and subtasks

Hi,

I have a task that I have already broken down into five sub-tasks. I did set a start date for my task. Now, in 'flattened' view, my subtasks show even though I ask to hide my future tasks.

This is not what I would have expected. Is there something I should do in settings, or are there people who find that this way of doing things is useful?

Thx,
Anders

The subtasks will obey the same filtering rules as regular tasks when flattened. If you need them hidden, then they all need to have start dates (or due date modifiers). I think it makes sense, but I can also see your perspective, and Toodledo has said they plan to allow for subtasks to inherit fields from their parent tasks which should help this situation for you.
