Is there a way to assign one task to multiple lists without creating the same task five times [once for each list]. I'm looking for a way to say "Review Memo with.." and have it assigned to each location since it needs to be reviewed with staff at each one when on site.

thanks!

If by lists, you mean Folders, then no. A task can only be assigned to 1 Folder. You could clone the task 4 times, but that is not much better than creating it 5 times. The same is true of Contexts and most other fields. However, tasks can have multiple Tags, so that is probably the way to go if you often need this sort of organization. So create the task "Review Memo..." and then add Tags like "person A, person B, person C, etc.".

Thanks for the response Anders. I see a way to clone the task on the web interface, does such a feature exist in the iPhone app? I have not yet purchased the app as this ability is key to the to-do list and I'm hesitant buy an app until I find one that can do it.

thanks!

The iPhone does not yet have the "clone" function, although we plan to add it.
