is there a way to move tasks to become subtasks that doesn't use the hand? it is slow and laborious. I suggest a drop down button such as move to: and it lists all the parents.

Also, Is there a way to add a subtask with out making it a task first and then moving it? This is possible on the iphone app but I can't seem to figure it out on the on web.

If you hover your mouse of the subtask icon, a box will popup allowing you to directly add a subtask to that task.

To move an existing task into another parent, you have to use the drag and drop method, at this time.
