No sound on alert notifications

I receive alert notifications on my Iphone 3GS but there is no sound. I've checked my settings on the Iphone and toodledo settings and everything is OK.

Any idea how to get sound?

Are you sure you don't have your iPhone on silent mode, or have the ringer turned down?

You might try picking a different sound, inside the app, that you may be able to hear better.
