Hide Completed Tasks on iPhone?

Is there a way to change the settings in the iPhone app to have completed tasks hidden from the due date view? When I select the due date sort view, all of the completed tasks that were due a while ago appear at the top of the list, and I'd like to hide them so I don't have to scroll through all of my completed items to get to live, open tasks.

Yes, this is a filter. Tap the blue bar that says "Hidden tasks:..." and click "Completed Tasks : Hide"
