Question about reminders

If I have no time set and don't enter any number in the reminder-box does it just remind me on noon on due-date?
What happens after that? Will the task just stay in that folder?

Yes, if you have no time, then it will use noon as the reference time.
Nothing happens to the task after the reminder is sent. It doesn't change folders.
