Hi,

Is it possible to have a default alert set on the iPhone App? Instead of having to manually set an alert each time you create a new task I'd like to have one set like how you can select a default due date/due time.

If not can this be a feature considered for a future version.

Thanks!

Yes - you need to set this in your Account Settings - New Task Defaults.

Note that Peter's suggestion only works for tasks added via the website. There is not currently a way to have all tasks added on the iPhone automatically have a reminder.

Agreed, I'm able to do it on the website, however I'm requesting that the same functionality be added to the iPhone App sometime in the future..

Thanks!

Yes, this would be basic functionality for an iPhone app.

Two major issues with setting up tasks: unnecessary additional steps.

If you even want an alert at all, you have to add your task and then make sure, every single time, that you sync it with the remote system. Major pain.

Apparently if you want to set a sound for alerts you also have to manually set that every single time you add a new task as well. Major pain.

These things should be global settings, and alerts should happen without any syncing necessary. Not to mention privacy issues...
