Is there anyway to add a subtask to a task? If not, is this feature in the works soon?

You need a Pro Account to use subtasks.

Check out this Help topic: Explanation of Subtasks.

I have signed up for the free trial of the Pro account, but I am not seeing the hand icon next to my tasks in order to create subtasks. Is this a bug? Or am I viewing it wrong?

Nevermind, I found that you have to go into account settings and specifically enable subtasks.

Yeah, this a bit silly.
Subtasks should automatically be enabled whenever someone gets a Pro Account.

I have a need for more than one level deep of subtasks. Is this currently supported? If not, will it be?

There's only one level of subtasks. Many users have asked for more but there's no indication that Toodledo will actually be implementing a change.

For now, perhaps you can get close to what you want by using Contexts, Folders, Goals, and Tags.
