Repeat a task without moving a note forward

I would like to set a task for taking distinct note everyday.
To do so, I set a task `taking a note', repeat everyday and write in the note entry.
But this doesn't work: yesterday's note appears in today's task.
How can I do that?

Notes on repeating tasks get moved forward along with all the other information about that task, so it wont work the way that you are expecting it to. If you want to save a unique note for each historical version of the task, you will need to check off the task first, then refresh the page and edit the note on the completed copy of that task. A better solution might be to use our Notebook functionality.
