Hotlist items not showing up

I have my Hotlist set to show all starred items, priority 2 and up and due within 7 days. Several tasks are not showing up. Oddly, all these tasks were imported from an iCal ics file. Could there be something in the import process that's keeping them off the hotlist?

Yes, it is probably a start-date combined with the "hide future tasks" filter. It might also be the status field. Try enabling these fields in your account settings and see if the missing tasks have a value set for either of these.
