Hello

Say I have a folder called "Test" and I've got a bunch of completed tasks inside it.
How do I go about deleting the folder and all of its completed tasks?

On a related note, if there were active tasks, I'd be fine with those being "folderless".

Thanks,
j

You can't delete the completed tasks - they'll just go away after some period of time determined by whether or not you have a Pro account.

As for the Folder, go to the Folder screen (click on "Folders in the menu on the left edge of the TD screen) and click on the trash can icon at the extreme right side of the screen.

You can delete completed tasks using our multi-edit tool. Just do a search for "completed=yes" and add any other criteria to further narrow it down if you wish. Then use the multi-edit tool to delete those tasks.

Thanks for the responses.
Sorry for sounding like a total newb (which I am anyway)
But where do I find the "multi-edit" tool?

Thanks,

Go to 'Search' page, give a search query that results only the tasks you want to delete. There you will see the multi edit tool. If it is collapsed, expand it.

Ah, yes. I managed to delete all the tasks in one step.
Thanks for pointing out the multi edit tool, Piyush.

Cheers,

Hi Toodledo

I just wanted to add that the "multi-edit" tool is far more useful than I've realized.
It really makes bulk management of tasks that much easier.

Thanks!
