How to turn a task into a note

Most of my work involves todos, in many cases a lot of valuable information is contained in the todo item. I would like to be able turn a todo into a note for future reference. Is there a way to turn a todo into a note or turn a note within a todo into a note item?

This is not possible yet. You will need to use your computer's copy/paste functionality to do this for now.
