Slow syncing after last 2 updates

I've been using the Toodledo iphone app for about a year now without any major issues. Thanks! But just recently, since the last couple of updates, the Toodledo iphone app has been syncing especially slow. It works, but sometimes takes over a minute to finish syncing. I don't know if I need to wait for it, or just stick the thing back in my pocket and hope that it finishes eventually. I'm running IOS 4.2.1. Have others been experiencing this problem?

Does it seem to stall at one particular point in the sync process? If you do another sync immediately after one finishes, does the second one take a long time too?

I am having a similar but in my case the sync process never completes - either on my ipad or itouch

Syncing can take a long time if you have thousands of tasks. Keep in mind, that completed tasks must sync too, so you may have only 500 active tasks, but 5000 completed tasks. To reduce the number of completed tasks, you can change the retention time in your account settings.
