Outlook 2007 has to-do items: they're not tasks but potentially any kind of item (email, calendar, contact, etc) that has been flagged for follow-up. These items can be assigned due-date, reminders, etc. I've been searching to see if I can find out any technical information on how these items are differentiated in Outlook from regular items, but if there was a way to be about to sync these to-do items with Toodledo, that would be amazing.

I've just started using Toodledo with Outlook Sync, and it's fantastic. Thanks for your hard work - it's making my life so much easier.

I'm not sure exactly how it works, but I know that Outlook todo items are not part of the task database that the sync tool works with. Read the highlighted post by the sync tool's developer here: http://www.toodledo.com/forums/8/1966/-9246/read.html

that is correct. although Outlook makes it loo like these flagged items are tasks, under the hood they are very different. If you want to sync them using Toodledosync you need to turn them into tasks by dragging them to your tasks folder

Here's about the closest you'll come to understanding it. IF you're still confused after reading this then welcome to my world! :)
