Wow, okay I understand. No innovation then. We always did it like this. Sounds familiar to me.

Hmmm, someone else will do (this is for sure) OR better did it allready:

THREE different 'views' on all the records:
- project structure (innovative!)
- task list
- canban board

Enjoy the inspiration. It's out there (aka excuses)

Each task is given a unique id.
If you open the action menu and select "Permanent Link" that id will appear in the address bar of your web browser like:

...#task_123456789

My Questions are:

1. Could this number be shown (optional?) in the taskview?
2. and also work as a sorting option??

It's really frustrating to have to state the whole task when referring to one
AND it's not much better to have a nine digit number instead (when you have less than 100 or 1000 tasks to manage ;-)

So on top I would like any other way to refer to individual tasks by a shorter auto-number of some kind (auto-numbering by folder?).

The difference between 'next best thing' and cool innovations/integrations are loyal users/customers.

The optional Kanban view (popular with products like Trello & Co) is a must!
The oldest entries in the Question Forum are going back to 2013/2014...

This would give the product a complete new and stylish look without changing the basics!
And it would be the perfect answer to statements like:

Cons
Limited innovation in terms of the UI.

I almost agree 100% to all the previous comments.

+1 for a Kanban View or Format
