There are three main areas where an improvement would be helpful, and they should be relatively easy to implement: 1. Handle protocols other than "http://" and "https://". I'd love to have the "notes:///" URI's recognized, so that I can just click to jump to a Lotus Notes email that's associated with a task. At the moment, I need to copy these URI's from my task notes, and paste them into Firefox's address bar to get to the email I need. Other useful protocols are "callto://" (single click to start a Skype call), and "tel:" (similar, but for other VoIP systems). Handling "mailto:" links would also be helpful. 2. If the Notes field only contains a single link, add a clickable icon immediately after the task name This would make it easy to link to important web pages, without needing to expand the Notes. 3. (Extra Credit) Recognize some common link types, and show the appropriate icon. For generic web links, show a "web page" icon. If the link is to "http://mail.google.com" or a "notes:///" link, show an email icon. For "tel:" and "callto://", show a phone icon. This message was edited Dec 01, 2009.
