I receive collaboration notification emails correctly, but the only emails I receive state a task was added or that one was edited (the latter includes when they are completed)
It would be really helpful if the notification stated if the task was actually completed by a collaborator, as sometimes that triggers a need for another action by one of us. I have a running battle with my wife about her marking things as complete when she's only done step one of a multi-step process, so I have to check up on all the things she has edited to see if she has actually marked it as completed or made another edit. The variant of GTD that I use (TRO) tells you not to spend ages thinking through all the steps of a process when you first input the task and making them subtasks of it - it's not a productive use of time. I used to be a silver subscriber to Toodledo, but I let it lapse because I wasn't using the extra features. I'm now thinking of using collaboration (which I didn't use previously), both with my wife and with my team at work, but I want to try it out to see how it works in practice for me and for them (particularly so that I understand what happens when I share with someone on a free account).
Is it possible to get another trial period to test this? Thanks |
