Check out the ToDo and Notebook apps from Appigo.com on AppStore. You can create ToDo's from Notes and create Notebook notes from ToDo notes. I think the ToDo app is probably the best of its kind.
The ToDo app syncs with either ToodleDo or Remember The Milk, and the Notebook app syncs with Toodledo. |

Actually, the iGoogle gadget works just fine if you enable Gadgets in the Labs setting. The only caveat is that the font is too large requiring a horizontal scroll. I'll bet if Tootledo would just tweak the fonts, they would have VERY little development to do.
