I think I was trying to upgrade too quickly and my email address wasn't fully updated in the system. At any rate, the problem is solved. :)

The system automatically adds my old email address to the cart with an error message that the email address is unregistered or invalid. I have tried changing the item in my cart to my new email address and have tried adding a new item with my new email address and neither works. Thanks!
