I set it for email alerts hoping that the browser ones will stop. |

I am annoyed by the daily onslaught of growl-type notifications on my desktop. They don't disappear unless I individually dismiss each one. I have tried for hours to figure out how to turn off the alerts. Does anyone have any suggestions?
