Call it "custom views" or "save display settings with searches" - it's my only feature request to toodledo, actually :-) My main usage of this would be a "projects" view that shows all my projects with indented subtasks and alphabetical or priority sorting, and a "next action" view which shows subtasks flattened and sorted by context. Please make the sorting saveable together with a search. Here's why: I have a search for "Next actions" (GTD) sorted by context, priority and due date. Subtasks are flattened. I have another search for "Projects" which needs to be sorted by priority first, and with intended subtasks.

I absolutely support this point! Please make the sorting saveable together with a search.
