The warning in the Chrome Web Store usually means it’s using older APIs that Google is phasing out. I haven’t heard anything official from Toodledo about replacing it, but I agree, a native web clipper or Gmail integration would be helpful. If the extension isn't being actively maintained, you might want to look into project recovery options like this one https://ideamaker.agency/project-recovery/ in case you're relying on tools that may not get updates.

Hi Steven,

From what I’ve seen, the current Toodledo Android app seems to work reliably on devices running Android 8.0 (Oreo) and above. It might run on older versions, but you could run into compatibility issues or bugs that aren't being patched anymore. If you’re using an older device, it might be worth testing it out directly or checking with support for the minimum requirements.

Hope that helps!

To avoid losing track of tasks without making everything due today, I started using start dates instead of due dates, tasks only appear when I plan to work on them, so there’s no need to keep rolling them over.

Yeah, that’s a limitation of the current sync, completed tasks in Toodledo don’t get removed or hidden in Google Calendar. One workaround is to tag completed tasks with something like “[Done]” and filter them out in Google Calendar using search or a separate view.

Hi Frank,
You can use Python with pandas or a spreadsheet with pivot tables and COUNTIFS to analyze how often tasks were completed compared to how often they were planned. Just group by task name and compare completion counts or time intervals. Let me know if you’d like a simple example to get started.

Hey Avikroy,

I’ve noticed the same thing with the completed tasks still appearing crossed out even when “dimmed” is selected. It might be a glitch with the new interface on tasks.toodledo.com. One thing you could try is clearing your browser cache or trying it in a different browser, just to see if it’s a rendering issue.

Also, check if you're on the latest version of the browser and maybe test it with any extensions turned off.

Good to know they’ve unlocked the add-ons and provided an installer, at least. Hopefully, someone from the dev community picks up the source and keeps it alive in some form.
