@Kuduboet, this has been a basic feature that people have been requesting for 6 years ( http://www.toodledo.com/forums/2/12761/-61603/notebook-bold-text-and-bullets.html ).

I have been asking for over 4.5 years ( https://www.toodledo.com/forums/2/16446/0/notes-formatting.html )

Over a year has gone by since this post ( https://www.toodledo.com/forums/1/22735/0/preview-of-new-notes-section.html ) which suggested it was coming ... but still no activity.

Since we know the Notes can support HTML markup, we know that all that has to be done is modifying the editor with a toolbar that will insert the HTML for us. Clearly, it is just not a priority.

I have been a Pro user for many years and love Toodledo for its display compactness and GTD orientation, but it is archaic for text and formatting.

If you want any easy to use, basic formatting, you should look for another product.

In terms of priority, frankly I find delivering a new layout a waste of time compared to the value that would be delivered if you incorporated basic inline formatting tools. Bold, underline, bullet points, indents.

Any hints on when Rich Text editing might be added to Notes on the website?

Threads discussing Rich Text go back over 3 years and are closed due to age.

Editing Notes via the website is positively medieval.

Just dredging up this old chestnut again:
http://www.toodledo.com/forums/2/12761/-61603/notebook-bold-text-and-bullets.html

It's been over a year since discussion on improving formatting to be rich-text standard.

The tools for supporting in-browser wysiqyg are mature and are standard in CMS systems and online tools such as Gmail, Yahoomail, Mailmonkey, etc ...

Any update ToodleDo?

If I am logged in, what series of links do I click to get to: http://www.toodledo.com/connect_mobile.php ???

That url does not seem to be linked from anywhere I can find.

There is no Tools link in the left-hand side menu on the primary ToodleDo List page.

Cheers,
T.

If you are not specifically aware of ToodleDo Slim, there is no way of knowing that it exists unless you are a forum reader.

Please put a link to SLIM and also HTML versions, so those of us using phone browsers, e.g. Nokia Symbian S60 browsers, can jump to different views depending on our needs.

Also, trying to use the Help part of the website does not work under Nokia N95 standard web browser. You can search for a subject, but clicking on any of the search result links that are returned does nothing - too much AJAX magic or somesuch.

Cheers,
T.
