Location alerts?

Hi
I have been using Toodledo for about 4 months, and have not seemed to get the location alerts to work. I have selected locations, and entered "test" tasks but have yet to get an alert.
One question, when I am putting in a location based task, do I have to select "remind me" alarm or is this a separate alarm system?
Any tips that I might be missing on how to get this workign (I'm using an iphone4 with the free version)
