Tasks multiplying like crazy

I had 9743 tasks today, as all my tasks suddenly started multiplying themselves over night.
I sync ToDo for Mac with ToodleDo.online and ToDo on my iPhone. In iCal I subsribe my ToodleDo tasks, so I can see them in the task section - I suspect the problem started there, as I first saw the multiple tasks in iCal.
What can I do to avoid time consuming things like that for the future?

The duplicates almost certainly came from syncing ToDo for Mac. We have had a few reports of this happening to other people. This tool is a 3rd party tool made by Appigo.com, so we cannot provide support for it. Please contact Appigo.com. They may have a way to de-duplicate your tasks.
