how to open a task

Just started using this program, or trying it out I should say. Created my first task and cannot even figure out how to open it. Searched the forums, found the question asked, but no response. About ready to dump this program if something as basic as opening the task is not clearly intuitive. Thanks.

You "edit in place". Click on the field you want to edit.

thank you! is there a way to have it show notes rather than have to click on the notes icon? i haven't looked for an answer to that yet.

Just to the right of the Sort icons, you'll see a little page icon, which toggles Notes open and closed.
