I just started using Toodledo, hoping to get away from Outlook tasks. One feature I would love is being able to set reminders on an actual date and/or time. Any chance of that happening? Thank you.

You can set reminders for any time. Just set the due-date and time for the task and then set the reminder to be 1 minute and it will go off when you want it.

Here's an example of what I mean: I have a task with a due date of April 15, 2016. Currently the earliest reminder I can set is 30 days ahead or March 15, 2016. I'd like to have the ability to set a specific date for the reminder such as January 1, 2016. I don't see the capability of doing that on this program.

I see now. This isn't possible right now, but my work-around suggestion is to make a separate task on Jan 1, 2016 that says "Start Task X" and put a reminder on that.
