Can you change a sub-task to a task or back to a task?

I accidentally moved a task and it became the sub-task of another task. I can't figure out how to change it back to being it's own task and can't find anything in the help section or by searching the forum.
Can anyone help?

Pick up the task using the four arrows symbol and drop it to an empty part of the display.
It should then turn into a normal task.
