Auto-Show Subtasks in Search?

I guess I must be missing something obvious, but how do I enable the automatic showing of subtasks in a saved search? Is there a certain parameter/setting I need to enable? I have subtasks sorting as indented.

Any help on this is much appreciated, thanks!

If you have your subtask setting set to "indented" then subtasks will be displayed on a saved search only if the parent task also matches the search. If you want to find subtasks whose parents don't match the search parameters, then you will need to use the "flattened" setting.

Thank you very much for the reply.

Do you plan to ever implement auto-expanding of subtasks in a search? Having to click "Show All" every time I refresh/switch to a different search is a little frustrating.

Yes, we plan to improve search. We would like to be able to match nested subtasks even when indented, but this is complicated and probably needs to be a user-preference.
