Toodledo.com allows automatic hiding of completed tasks, but not so Toodledo for iPad. The user needs to go into settings and manually delete them if he/she no longer wants to see them.

Or is there a better way?

Just found the option to hide completed tasks with help of toodledo administrator.

Click "hidden tasks" in the skinny light blue area above the tasks list.
