Is there a way to show repeating task for the coming weeks before you check off the one for the week before. I want to add a repeat task that shows each week for the news releases I send out on Thursdays so I can add sub task to be included for that week as I schedule classes or things come up that need to be released.

Sorry, this is not possible. Our repeating feature is more like a "rescheduling" feature. When you complete the task, it is moved forward at this time.
