Vista/Windows 7 gadget- nice idea but doesn't work

I found the following gadget and tried it out on Win 7 64 bit. It installs fine and I'm able to give it my information and retrieve from Toodledo. I have two problems: - The returned list is in some un-determined order (possibly priority?) Of the 10 tasks shown only 1 is in the first 10 on my Hotlist or All Tasks list. As such it's useless for me. - The circular refresh arrow only opens an Explorer window on the gadget's contents. I'm OK with only reading the tasks (although a quick add would be nice). Since the widget is over 2 1/5 years old it likely will have no further updates. I found a different gadget, MiniBrowser, that opens a miniature Internet Explorer. I've set it's home page to the slim site and shrunk it down a bit. As long as I remember to refresh when needed it's usable and much better than the other gadget. Now if only slim would sort the same as the full site... |
