From Topic: Toodledo Android App

Glad you are moving forward on the Android platform. As for me, I have been very happy with Ultimate To-Do List. But competition is good -- if the new app can match Ultimate To-Do and also incorporate Outlines and Lists, I will definitely consider trying it out.

It didn't seem to be an excessive number of item. Regardless, it seems to be working fine now.

Thanks for the quick assistance!

Trying to use the search page and it's bogging down until I get a "this script is causing to run slowly" error. I've made no recent changes to my computer and I've rebooted twice.

Is anything going on with the Search page right now?

It seems to be coming from a different number. Maybe it does have something to do with AT&T. Thanks for confirming no change on your side.

Starting today my SMS reminders do not list the task description.

All they list is the due date followed by a dash. Did something change with the format of the reminders?

I just click on the "all tasks" tab (or whatever tab you use) and it refreshes.

Same problem here. Items assigned today's date are showing up in the "overdue" category. My "today" category has items that are assigned tomorrow's date.

Ken,

What do you mean by your inbox on TD? I'm interested in understanding where this goes in TD.

Thanks,

...No Time would be a nice addition.

Also, if there was a way to add a dropdown selection for the TIME field, we would be able to 100% complete this section with the mouse only.

Click, click, click. DONE.

Thanks for considering this suggestion.

Okay, this is really picky and silly, but the alarm icon looks more like a raincloud to me. Maybe a slight tint of yellow would help keep me from thinking "gloom" when I see tasks with alarms.

Yes, overly picky, I know, and I'll be happy to get used to it if need be.

Thanks again for a great product and for adding the reminders feature! I will make great use of it.

Is there a way to add the "Remind me" and lead time fields to the Multi-Edit page so that we can mass convert our existing tasks that have due times to use the new reminders? Rather than going in one-by-one to edit.

Thanks,

Les

One of my repeating tasks is to routinely go here:
http://www.toodledo.com/connect_csv.php and backup my tasks and notes.

Glad I do, but even gladder you got everything back in place. Thanks for your efforts!

Is it possible to modify the default start day of the week for pop calendar. I prefer to see the calendar start with Mondays.

Chris

Optional would be nice for those of us who prefer it the current way. Thanks.

Thanks...

Is it also possible for you to load our default values when we add tasks via the simple html link? ( http://www.toodledo.com/html/ )

If automatic roll-forward of dates is implemented, I suggest that it should be optional with both a global setting and a per task setting.

Examples:
I may have a repeating task due 2/01/09 that I'm late completing this time. I don't want the date rolled forward because I want the next instance to be 3/01/09, not a month from a rolled-forward date.

I actually value being able to see what I'm "Overdue" on. With dates rolled forward you would never be able to tell that anything is overdue.

Alternatively, I may WANT dates to move forward so I can automatically see them on the "Due Today" list.

So, if implemented, I think there should be global preference settings such as:

ROLL FORWARD DEFAULTS FOR NEW TASKS:
Roll Forward Past Due Dates to Current Date: Yes / No
Roll Forward Repeating Task Past Due Dates to Current Date: Yes / No

Also, I suggest making a visible field (check box) for each task when entering a task and also when viewing all tasks that can toggle whether that task's date gets rolled forward at midnight or not.

I've run into that problem too with no successful workaround.

I noticed from the help that we CAN use "On the LAST FRIDAY of each month", for example. It would nice if we could also say "On the LAST DAY of each month."

From the Help section:
Format 2: "On the X D of each month". Where X is a number or numerical word (first, second, last, etc) and D is a day of the week (Mon, Tue, Wed, etc). Examples: On the second monday of each month, On the last Fri of each month, On the 3 Sat of each month.

I use contexts to separate them. One for "home" and one for "work." Then I filter by "work" when I'm at work and filter by "home" when I'm at home.

Works great for me.
