Alrighty then. I reinstalled the Toodledo app and it appears to be working correctly now. I can once again create tasks on the iPhone and have them populate out to the site and back down to Outlook. Yay!

When this all started I had both Sync on edit and sync on start enabled. I've since turned off all automatic syncing (manual sync only) and get the same results. New tasks not pushed to site. This is also the same when only one of the sync options is available.

I checked the recently added and there's no sign of the tasks that were created on the iPhone. I'll try deleting and reinstalling tonight and let you know what I come up with. This is a fairly recent occurrence so I *KNOW* it's my fault. I just don't know what I did to cause it.

This appears to be isolated only to the iPhone app. Tasks created in the iPhone app never make it to the website so there's nothing for the PC app to overwrite. It's really odd because I can edit existing tasks with no problem. I just can't create tasks on the iPhone and expect to seem them sync'd to the website and then to Outlook.

Already tried that. It doesn't seem to make much of a difference. I've even turned off all of the auto-syncing and done a sync after adding a task and backing out of it.

Still seem to be running into this. If I update or modify a task on my iPhone it syncs fine, but if I *create* a task on my iPhone it never syncs. Really odd, and rather annoying.

Couple of questions.

1.) Is this a Pro account thing only?
2.) Does the sub-task map to Outlook? (i.e. if I'm using the sync app will all of it sync correctly or will it get dropped like the Project field currently does since it's a user-defined field?

I've run into this issue twice in the past day and can't seem to find a way around it. I'll create a task in Toodledo on my iPhone, but it never syncs back to the website. Inevitably I have to delete the task from my iPhone and recreate it either in Outlook or on the website so that it copies out to my iPhone.

Has anyone else run into this? Is there a fix for it?

Here's about the closest you'll come to understanding it. IF you're still confused after reading this then welcome to my world! :)

I ran into the "tasks not syncing" issue last night. To fix it I changed the contexts then sync'd and changed them back and sync'd again. et voila! Tasks sync'd correctly. Just needed a nudge.

We had to freeze development on the website during the big migration that we just finished (see the news forum), so during the waiting period we redirected our efforts to the iphone app. Now that the migration is behind us, we are working again on some new stuff for the website :)

Can you give some insight on what's planned for the Website? I absolutely LOVE Toodledo, but IMHO it's missing:

- Contact and Calendar Syncing (I currently use OggSync to push Calendar and Contacts out to Gmail so I can sync to my iPhone). The Toodledo Calendar is pretty useless from what I've seen so far (no offense intended). If you had a full feature Calendar and Contact sync (with associated iPhone sync) you'd kill everyone else off!

For iPhone:
- Notes Sync (I can sync notes from Outlook to "Cloud, but not to the iPhone).

As it is, with the use of the Toodledo Sync application I'm now able to use Toodledo as the "Cloud and sync my tasks across 2 computers and an iPhone. It ROX!

Thanks Anders. I found that article shortly after posting.

I'm able to (mostly) sync two computers without issue.

I'm pretty well configured to that Outlook Categories correlate to Toodledo Folders. Unfortunately the sync program doesn't appear to support the creation of new folders when it pushes a sync out to Toodledo.

For instance: I 'Red Flag' three emails on my work Outlook which automatically add them to my task list and I categorize them as '@Safety'. The next time I sync I expect to see a new folder titled '@Safety' with three tasks in it. Unfortunately this doesn't happen and the tasks are present only on my work outlook. They never make it out to Toodledo.
