From Topic: Automated backups?
Hi there Is version control backup of users' tasks included in the roadmap? Although I backup weekly, it would be good if there were more frequent automated backups as well. I'd be happy to pay for this facility. Evernote, for example, take an image every couple of hours which has got me out of trouble a number of times. Max |

From Topic: FireFox: PgDn versus Keyboard Shortcuts
It's intermittent- possibly to do with the large number of tasks I have. |

From Topic: FireFox: PgDn versus Keyboard Shortcuts
Hi there I notice the Page Down key doesn't work in Firefox when keyboard shortcuts are enabled in Toodledo settings. Is this intentional? Thanks Max |

From Topic: XML is the best way to back up data?
Thanks, I do all 3 backups for readability and ease - just wondered why XML was recommended. I understand now, thank you. Max |

From Topic: XML is the best way to back up data?
Hi there I back up religiously every week: I do: 1. A full account account backup 2. CSV backup (because I can read this most easily - XML is difficult to read) 3. An XML backup because next to this tool, Toodledo says it is the best way to back up data here. Why does it say XML is the best way to backup please? Thanks Max |

From Topic: Removing the left side bar
Thanks for doing this. Have you measured how often users use the top bar functions (Add Task, Show, Sort, @, etc) versus using the sidebar functions (View By)? I find that once I have my format set up, the only top bar function I use is Add Task. All the rest of my time is spent in the left bar changing my views. (So I am constantly having to make it come back and forth - and I do need the screen space for longer tasks) Therefore, in the way that I work, it would make more sense to have View By (and maybe Add Task) in the top bar, and all the formatting functions in the sidebar (and to be able to make these seldom use functions disappear). However, I have no idea how typical my use is compared to others' without measurements. Max This message was edited Aug 07, 2011. |

From Topic: Multi-edit calendar
When doing a multi-edit with the new UI, the calendar pops on the top left of the screen well away from the multi-edit box. By the time I get my cursor there, the multi-edit calendar has disappeared. Advice please? Thanks Max |

From Topic: Quick task add bug
The new quick task box is great. There is a small bug in that it does not use all the default task settings. The regular add function still works fine though. Thanks Max |

Thank you. Yes, my default was to collapse the sidebar so would be grateful for an option to collapse it. |

Thanks. Am I right in thinking that this means there is less screen real estate available in the new UI compared to the old UI? |

OK, solved this; the new UI changed the "Show" options at the top for some reason. I have corrected this now, thanks. |

From Topic: Search problem with new UI
Hi there Since the UI change, one of my searches no longer behaves as it used to. It used to show all tasks whose due date was tomorrow or in the past 365 days. However, it no longer shows tasks due for tomorrow. Please advise. Thanks Max |

From Topic: Feature request: Random Repeats
After Toodledo, the next app which has changed my life is http://emailgame.baydin.com/ One great feature they offer is a random reminder (remind me randomly in a day, week, a month, 3 months, etc.). A similar feature in Toodledo would be useful. For example, I have email reminder alarms set for some of my low priority tasks, but somehow, I never look at them and they never get done. It would be great if I could set a random Toodle reminder so that the task gets emailed to me again randomly (in a day, week, month, three months, etc.) Max |

From Topic: Multiedit - alarms
Hi When I use multiedit to change the date and time of tasks, for some reason it doesn't send a reminders like it does when you manually enter a new task. Has anyone else reported this? Thanks Max |
