Is there a way to finish typing a task note from the keyboard?

So far I do

(1) click at the note icon, note field becomes editable
(2) enter a note from keyboard
(3) click outside the note field to finish, note field becomes read-only

Is there a better way?

Thanks

Perhaps I am a slacker but there is hardly a day where I complete everything on my list, and so allowing those tasks to roll would save me time, Appreciate the response though.

I would recommend using less due dates. E.g., use STAR for tasks you would like to finish today. Than there will be nothing to reschedule :-)

Agree that more focus is needed on the task tab . Would be interesting to know how many people actually subscribed [paid ] to get access to the outlines and lists and habits features . They are nice but I'd be surprised to find they're your bread and butter .
Everyone I tell about toodledo is impressed with the power , but they don't stick with it and they don't subscribe because of the appearance .

Honestly? If the functionality is the best on the market but it's not pretty enough, functionality should win over. If it doesn't... I don't even know what to say to that. Maybe take another look at your priorities?

Unfortunatelly, that is not how market works :-) So we need nicer ToDo's to get more Toodledo customers, to make Toodledo more profit, to allow Toodledo to make you happy :-)

Hi, any news regarding manual sorting of tasks? Is it still on the todo list?

Thanks for the reply, Jake!

You might want to add this to your todo list to have defined default 4th sorting criteria.

Thanks!

Hi,

what is the 4th sorting criteria, i.e., if all 3 sorting values identical, what will be the taks order?

Thanks!

Hi, I am trying to use the Outlines functionality. I like the idea in general and the offered keyboard shortcuts. I have expected to be very productive.

Unfortunately I see a lot of strange behavior, like duplicating items, outline overwritten with older state, lost items..

While I have entered a ticket for this, I would like to learn here what experience other users have :-)

Thanks

We'll make changes in a bunch of small phases (baby steps) to avoid disrupting anyone's productivity by making the website less familiar. Any changes that we make will be careful and thoughtful.

Our plan may change as we progress, but here is our current roadmap.

That is the correct approach. Thanks

@byokes

Indeed, I had a ticket perhaps related to the issue. The sync at app close does not work, so you have to sync manually before leaving app at the iphone.

The badge number will be updated every 4 hours, and any time that you get an alarm for a task that is due.

I am using number of tasks in the hotlist as my badge number. It seems not to be working. I have checked setup, looks ok. Testing it again and again :-(

Now the website shows hotlist tasks : 40
iPhone shows hotlist tasks : 39

Even waiting over nigth, the badge has not changed.

Could you help?

Thanks for the update!

I am using number of tasks in the hotlist as my badge number. Will the badge be updated with push when the number of tasks in my hotlist changes, for whatever reason? E.g., when I enter a new task or change priority of an existing task using the web Toodledo interface?

Thanks for the 1.5.0 update! However I would suggest to enhance push notification concept this way:

Each user can customize badge usage, e.g., I use number of tasks in the hotlist. I would like to get push notification which would update number on the badge according to the user settings, i.e., in my case whenever number of tasks in the hotlist changes.

What do you think?

I think the question is still relevant. Clicking the History changes sorting of the Main views. Should the sorting be restored automatically after you leave the history, e.g., click on To-Do List?
