I am having the same issue that is covered in a note with the same title from 2009, but I do not see a remedy, other than 'do not do that'.

Well, the first time I experienced this, I was writing a long note and got a phone call...my edits where lost.

Since this is an annoying data loss situation, I am putting in the bug category vs. feature request.

I am surprised this is not addressed. I use other systems like apple email and evernote that do not suffer this issue.

Am I missing something?

Please advise.

Thanks,
Phil

is there an additional field that i am not getting in the csv dump that designates the task/subtask relationship. surely, toodledo is storing this information somewhere.

is there another way to satisfy my use case....in summary, i am always paranoid about losing my data, so do an occasional export from toodledo cloud into a csv file, but i am concerned that heavy dependence on task/subtask will make the 'backup' not usable.

It is not clear to me how subtasks are conveyed in the csv export format?

BTW, I am new to toodledo, but so far, it rocks!
