I have a question on how the sorting works. I understand that when I sort by importance it looks at the due date and priority and sorts the tasks. But if all of that information is the same for a set of tasks, what is the next criteria it uses to sort by? I have a set of reoccurring tasks that I want to sort in a specific order, and I'm trying to figure out if there are any other attributes I need to change to get them in the right order when sorting by importance or priority.

If a set of tasks have the same importance, then they will be sorted by the secondary and tertiary sort criteria that you can select by clicking on the "sort" link in the toolbar at the top of the page.

Hope that helps.

Yes, that helped. When I changed the last sort criteria from "Auto" to "Alphabetical" it fixed my issue. But it did raise another question. What does the sort criteria of "Auto" do?

Auto just means that Toodledo chooses. Usually, this means priority or duedate.
