Deleting a repeating task?

I've got a number of repeating tasks that I want to delete - not just skip an occurrence, but outright delete.
As far as I can tell, the only way to do that is to (individually) first undo the "repeat" choice (which means multiple button-clicks or typing "none" into a finicky little box), then marking the task complete (even though I didn't actually do it today - I just want it to go away). Is this right? Is it supposed to take this much work to make a task go away? Or have I missed a useful little tool that would make this easier? |

If you delete an uncompleted repeating task, the task is gone, but previously completed instances will remain in your task list.

To outright delete a task, click on the action icon (circle with arrow in it) and click "Delete". It will remove the current version of the task and prevent future occurrences.
