After much experimenting I can tell you that the version 5.1.8 works as expected with Note to self function. The beta version 5.2.2 does not. "Unfortunately, Toodledo has stopped." message. Hope this can be fixed soon.

Did you open a ticket or report the problem via the "stopped" messsage? That will get technical detail to the TD dev team!
